Yes, it has been an unusually long time since the last post. I haven’t even thought about blogging in awhile. It’s one of those phases. I’m sure I could go on and on about various things in my life, but I haven’t felt the urge. So I’ll force myself.
Christmas was great. New years was fun, even though my poor hubby was sick and didn’t get to go spend it with me with the family. It’s alright though because it got me back this last weekend. I got that little flu bug, whatever it is. It’s not a fun thing. I really really hate feeling sick and that’s all it was. A full day of nausea and a few more days of other stuff and plain tired. Now I’m over it and functioning happily again.
I got to go visit Misti and Davis and Danny just before I got sick. That was a lot of fun. I love that little boy and I love my bestest friend just as much. It’s weird to think we’ve been friends for so long and all of the various forms our friendship has taken. I’m glad it’s where it is. We talked some about it and it’s nice to know that I have a friend like that. Some folks say a friendship like ours is once in a lifetime and I’m pretty sure I agree.
Myself and Wendy and my mom all went over to Andra’s to help her get some of her house moved out of boxes and into their proper spaces. I didn’t really feel like I did a whole lot, but it did look a lot different when we were done. The next day was when the nausea/puking thing hit me, so I wasn’t really able to appreciate it in its daytime glory. We have a baby shower coming up soon for her too. That’s gonna be fun fun.
Annnd I’m spent. Those are the topics I could think of, so there ya go.
