I will just play like I never thought about retiring I guess. I should delete those posts. I didn't offer that possibility for any attention type thing, I was literally thinking about closing these here doors. Screw that. If I stop blogging, I'll just stop. No need for an announcement. At least that way it will somewhat fade away, instead of being an abrupt halt. So here I am at work. It turns out there were a few drops of ink left in my pen. So I wrote with it for a few seconds and decided that I would let it live on forever. I'll not use it til it's dead. Oh the drama. It's riveting. Misti will be here in a few short hours. We are going to do ... stuff. I doubt I'll blog about it since I don't really have anywhere to blog from. I'll just keep those memories in my head and my little red journal. Which I fixed all by myself. Yeah it had a strap that was broken and I fixed it. Yay! It was joyous. You're right. I really do need more stuff in my life. Okay I'm outta here.

My Writing Pen Quest

I'm a pen freak. I like pens that write nicely. I write a lot, so pens that write well make me almost as happy as a good Arby's Beef n' Cheddar on a regular bun. When I was in Japan I found a pen that is amazing and all things good. It's a Pilot Super-GP 1.6mm pen and my quest is to find more of these pens, as the ink runs out rather quickly.

While searching for the pen, I came across a website that was another persons quest for the perfect writing pen. He says about my beloved Japanese pen:
"...more remarkable, however, is the Super GP Pen that I found with a 1.6mm tip. ...writing with it is like steering a supertanker into port, except in a good way."

Oh, I hear you friend. I hear you. I emailed Pilot Pens to request purchasing information for the Super GP 1.6mm pen, which by the by is made in Japan. I received the following email in return.
Hi Marissa:

Blast! Now I'm at a stand still. I need more of these pens. I can't find them. I'm going to be very, very sad.

All this to say, this is the reason I'm possibly retiring my blog. Well, no, not at all. But considering I said that in my last post, I thought it would be a little weird to say that and then post as if nothing had happened. The retire/hiatus thing is still being pondered.
